Run for life
We are looking for enthusiastic runners to help us ensure that Ethiopian children orphaned through HIV/AIDS, preventable illness or violence can be looked after in their own communities, and that those communities have access to clean water, sanitation and help to provide for their members.
We have guaranteed places in the following races:
BUPA 10k – 30 May 2011
Run through London on the course likely to be used for the 2012 Olympic marathons. The race starts on Birdcage Walk, St James’s Park and runners pass many of London’s famous sights, including Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, The London Eye, Tate Gallery, Millennium Bridge, The Monument, Mansion House, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Nelson's Column and Admiralty Arch. Buckingham Palace acts as the backdrop to the start and finish
Run to the Beat powered by Nike+ – 25 September 2011
Run to the Beat powered by Nike + is London’s music half marathon, beginning and ending at the O2 arena, with live music throughout the course. The south London course takes in the Royal Artillery Museum, Charlton Park and the Royal Observatory at Greenwich.
Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon – 9 October 2011
Starting and finishing in Hyde Park, the 13.1 mile route runs across four of London’s Royal
Parks - Hyde Park, St. James’s Park, Kensington Gardens and Green Park. Runners will also take in some of London’s most historic landmarks, including Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, Marble Arch and the Royal Albert Hall.
Alternatively you may have your own place in a race, event or triathlon and would like to raise money for us.
